Colombia shot into third place in the CONMEBOL qualifying section after two fine wins yesterday. Uruguay , who lost to Colombia on Friday scrambled to a home draw versus Ecuador. Largely thanks to a baffling referee performance.
Paraguay dropped out of contention with another loss to Venezuela and Peru recorded a fine draw against Argentina.
